According to the reports, producer Kamal Jain stated that after the last schedule of the film they saw the line-up of the film and realised that apart from patchwork some additional new scenes were also required. However, director Krish had reportedly moved on to his next project by then. And according to the producer Kangana, who has been very involved in the project since its inception, was the right person to take over the mantle.
